Artwork
We accept only EPS, PDF, SVG, and Transparent PNG file formats. All raster images must be 300 DPI and correctly sized for printing. Ensure to convert all text within your files to outlines to avoid font discrepancies. Artwork may be subject to a review fee of $50 per hour, with a minimum charge of one hour. By submitting artwork, you affirm it complies with copyright and trademark laws, and you agree to indemnify Short Run Prints against any legal claims. A letter of indemnity or license agreement may be required for the production of copyrighted materials.
Production times
Our standard production times are 5-7 business days, starting after proof approval, payment, and receipt of apparel. While we aim to maintain these timelines, production times may occasionally extend beyond our typical window.
Standard Production Times:
- Approval cutoff time is 3 PM (Central Time), Monday through Friday. Orders received after 12 PM (Central Time) may be processed the following business day.
- Artwork, payment, and received merchandise must be finalized before scheduling production. Each job requires a separate Purchase Order.
- Our goal is to ship orders no later than 7 days after proof approval and payment. However, orders needing multiple imprint methods may extend up to 10 business days.
- Larger orders could exceed standard production times. Ensure all merchandise is received at least 3 business days prior to the scheduled print date. Delays in receiving merchandise will add an extra day of production for each day past this deadline.
Spoilage
Orders exceeding 144 pieces are allocated a 2% spoilage allowance, while orders of 144 pieces or less have a 3% allowance. The spoilage is calculated as a percentage of the total number of imprints or one piece, whichever is greater.
Customers are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of their orders and may need to supply extra blanks accordingly. For orders requiring precise quantities, we advise factoring in the spoilage allowance when placing your order. We conduct thorough inspections of incoming merchandise for any defects and verify size, color, and style against the purchase order. Nonetheless, Short Run Prints cannot be held liable for any merchandise defects or errors in printing on incorrect merchandise.
Our liability for any issues will not surpass the cost of the imprinting services provided. Claims regarding order issues must be submitted within 30 days of receiving the merchandise. We retain unclaimed apparel for 30 days, after which it may be donated to a charitable organization of our choice.
Refunds and Return Policy
At Short Run Prints, we strive to provide products of the highest quality and satisfaction to our customers. However, in the rare event that you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, we offer a comprehensive refunds and return policy to address any issues promptly.
What Can Be Returned?
We accept returns for items that are faulty, damaged, or have a printing error. In such cases, we are committed to reprinting the item for you. Please note that reprints will not accommodate changes in color, product, size, or design.
Important Note: Our DTF transfers are digitally printed, and while we strive to accurately represent colors, variations may occur due to differences in monitor displays and printing techniques. Please review our FAQ page for helpful tips on artwork and design.
What Cannot Be Returned?
Custom printed apparel, printing, and promotional products are non-returnable unless they are misprinted, materially flawed, or defective. Variations in sizing and color/shade between garments from our suppliers are beyond our control and are not eligible for return.
Tolerances:
Garments may have a tolerance of +- 1 inch, and print placements are considered acceptable within +- 1 inches (vertical and horizontal). Print dimensions also have a tolerance of +- 0.25 inches.
Exchange or Store Credit Returns:
Exchange or store credit returns must be initiated within 14 days of receipt of purchase.
Shipping Charges:
Customers are responsible for all shipping charges associated with returning products. We do not reimburse shipping charges.
How to Return a Product:
To initiate a return, please email us at [email protected] or visit our return page, providing the purchase date, items you wish to return, and the reason for return. Our team will review your request and provide you with a Return Authorization Number (RA number) or a denial.
For approved returns/reprints, please email us at [email protected] with your name, order number, purchase date, items for return, a brief description of the issue, and a photo of the item. Post your return with the RA number clearly marked on the outside of the package.
